The Real Estate Agency Fyrrogi was founded in 2008 by Eleni Fyrrou, with a vision to provide comprehensive and high-quality real estate services.

Based on honesty and client care, Eleni Fyrrou established a real estate agency with a stable and successful track record in the property market of Kythira. Today, our office has dynamically expanded into the markets of Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, and Volos.

Eleni’s passion for the real estate sector is shared by her daughters, Nefeli and Nafsika. Nefeli is involved in property promotion, while Nafsika specializes in short-term rental management. Both contribute significantly to providing excellent services and the continuous growth of our agency.

What Does the Name "Fyrrogi" Mean?

Many people, whether friends, clients, or partners, sometimes wonder what our name, “Fyrrogi,” means. Etymologically, “Fyrrogi” is a compound word derived from “Fyrros” and “Ge” (Earth).

The word “Fyrros” is a variation of “Porphyros,” which means “crimson” or “red.” Thus, “Fyrrogi” literally means “crimson earth.” In Kythira, where our family originates from, there are several places with the prefix “Fyrros” or “Fyrri,” such as the Fyrri Ammos beach or Fyrroi, a toponym in Gerakari.

The idea for our name came from our founder, Eleni Fyrrou, who “loaned” her last name to the business. Since our company operates in the real estate sector, adding “Ge” (Earth) was a natural choice. Thus, “Fyrrogi” was born, combining tradition with our business.

And why two r’s? To emphasize the liveliness of the pronunciation, with a distinctive “roll” of the tongue! Fyrrogi!
